2018 TASH Conference has ended
Each year, the TASH Conference brings together a diverse community of stakeholders who gain information, learn about resources, and connect with others across the country to strengthen the disability field. This year’s conference theme, “Be Creative - Innovative Solutions for an Inclusive Life,” reminds us to think outside the box during times of uncertainty. Creativity, innovation, and determination can pave the way for meaningful and inclusive lives for people with disabilities.

I come to this field as a sibling and former educator who is now working in the world of employment, equity, and inclusion in Spokane, WA and across the Northwest. I would love to talk to people about a wide range of topics: inclusion and participation in secondary and higher education, peer mentoring, person-centered planning in transition, cultural and linguistic competence (esp Spanish) in our social services systems and organizations, sibling advocacy, and many others! I am thrilled to gain knowledge at this conference, especially in the realm of person-centered planning and Technical Assistance/Communication in culturally diverse communities.
