2018 TASH Conference has ended
Each year, the TASH Conference brings together a diverse community of stakeholders who gain information, learn about resources, and connect with others across the country to strengthen the disability field. This year’s conference theme, “Be Creative - Innovative Solutions for an Inclusive Life,” reminds us to think outside the box during times of uncertainty. Creativity, innovation, and determination can pave the way for meaningful and inclusive lives for people with disabilities.

I am a retired Special Educator with a focus on behavior who has worked in the field of Positive Behavior Support since 2002. I am particularly interested in PBS in the home and partnerships between school and home to support children and families. I am the Family Consultant for the Association for Positive Behavior Support.  I am also on the Board of Directors for Colorado's Parent Training and Information Center, PEAK Parent Center.  I also do dog rescue, particularly for puggles and have 2 puggles, a senior female and a male with a spinal cord injury who is being trained to be a therapy dog. He accompanies me to parent trainings in his cart and provides support for families with children with Special Needs.
