2018 TASH Conference has ended
Each year, the TASH Conference brings together a diverse community of stakeholders who gain information, learn about resources, and connect with others across the country to strengthen the disability field. This year’s conference theme, “Be Creative - Innovative Solutions for an Inclusive Life,” reminds us to think outside the box during times of uncertainty. Creativity, innovation, and determination can pave the way for meaningful and inclusive lives for people with disabilities.

I am passionate about engaging in work that shifts the social perception and discriminatory practices that surround the concept of disability. I believe that every person comes to this earth for a reason - everyone has a purpose in life. Person-centered work and genuine community inclusion requires us to walk with people in a journey of discovery and possibility. Talk to me about how even the best of us may accidentally be creating or sustaining conditions that keep people with disabilities in a holding pattern.
I would love to share work that I do within an international community of practice called citizen-centered leadership - an intentional 'inside-out' learning and practical experience in community building and allyship with and alongside people living with a disability.
