2018 TASH Conference has ended
Each year, the TASH Conference brings together a diverse community of stakeholders who gain information, learn about resources, and connect with others across the country to strengthen the disability field. This year’s conference theme, “Be Creative - Innovative Solutions for an Inclusive Life,” reminds us to think outside the box during times of uncertainty. Creativity, innovation, and determination can pave the way for meaningful and inclusive lives for people with disabilities.

Jennifer Tennican is an award-winning documentary film producer/director who moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 2002. Embracing the concept of local storytelling, she focuses on subjects in and around her community. Her last two films, "The Stagecoach Bar: An American Crossroads" and "Far Afield: A Conservation Love Story," were distributed nationally by American Public Television. Ms. Tennican is in the final stages of post-production on her current project, "Hearts of Glass." The film tells the story of the critical first year of operation of Vertical Harvest, a highly innovative, but risky, experiment in growing crops and providing meaningful employment for people with disabilities. Ms. Tennican's work focuses on cultural and social identities, community dynamics and conservation.
